About Ardmore
Ardmore House is culmination of an extensive renovation project, run by Duncan & Colette McEwan, who wanted to share the beauty and tranquility of Mid-Argyll with aspiring Guests.
Originally a 17th century cottage situated on the banks of Loch Fyne, Duncan & Colette acquired the property in early 2024 with the sole intention of restoring its former beauty which could then be shared with Guests.
Ardmore House is a Guest House - meaning there is no room service or reception. What we offer instead is: a homely feeling, beds made properly, breakfast cooked to your liking, and on-site owners who will work away to make sure you have a fantastic stay.
Ardmore offers a traditional Scottish stay, intertwined with the comforts of the modern world, whilst ensuring Guests fully experience the tranquility of the shores of Loch Fyne and the greenery of the West Highlands.

Check-in from 13:00 & Check-out from 10:30.
Breakfast is served between 07:30 & 09:30. Traditional Scottish cooked-to-order or continental spread.
Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to date of arrival. Any notice of cancellation within this time period is non-refundable and charged in full.
We allow well behaved dogs at no surcharge, however please ensure they are under control at all times.
Each room shall have a designated parking spot. Please let us know what vehicle you will be driving in advance as numerous campervans can crowd the driveway.
